Your safety is our top concern. Early warning helps save lives and property. That's why the City of Beaumont has implemented a state-of-the-art emergency notification system to alert citizens about emergencies and other important community news. The emergency notification system enables the City to provide essential information quickly in a variety of situations.
The process begins when the City issues a message about a potential hazard or upcoming event. Messages will be sent to all standard voice and text communication devices, including land line phones, cell phones, e-mail, and more. If you don't confirm receipt of the message, the system will try to reach your second contact and so on. The system will cycle through all contact methods provided until it receives a confirmation from you.
IMPORTANT – If the address you provided is not in our database of known addresses for our jurisdiction, you will be presented with other options to add your address into this system, including: selection from a list of suggested addresses or dropping a pin to select your location on the map (Microsoft Silverlight plug-in is required). You will not receive any location based alerts if you do not provide a complete address. Alerts from this local system is limited to City of Beaumont residents and businesses only, if you live outside of the City of Beaumont you will not be able to register.
