DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint

Beaumont, CA - On Saturday, July 31, 2021, the Beaumont Police Department hosted a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on 6th Street, between Euclid and Beaumont Avenues.  As a result, 554 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, no arrests were made for DUI, however five drivers were arrested for violation of probation and/or driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license. 30 drivers were issued citations and four vehicles were towed for various other violations.

The Beaumont Police Department is committed to keeping our roadways safe and free from impaired drivers.  If you consume alcohol or any substance that can impair your ability to drive a motor vehicle, please get home using a sober driver, a ride-share vehicle, taxi, or other safe means of transportation.
