Beaumont, CA – Members from the Beaumont Police Department Multiple Enforcement Team conducted follow up on the Armed Robbery from November 25, 2019, and determined the vehicle used in the robbery had been recovered by City of Fontana Police Department as part of a carjacking investigation. Fontana PD also arrested a subject in their case.

Incident to the arrest, a search was conducted and inside the vehicle was clothing matching the description of what the suspect was wearing at the time of the robbery in the City of Beaumont, as well as a handgun style airsoft gun.

Charges are pending on Eric Ayala, age 30, of Fontana for armed robbery. Ayala is currently in custody for Fontana PD’s case.

Beaumont, CA – Today, November 25, 2019, at approximately 12:16 pm, Beaumont Dispatch received a holdup alarm activation, at a business in the 500 block of Beaumont Avenue. Officers immediately responded to the location and made contact with employees who confirmed the business had been robbed.

A Hispanic male adult wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana and a blue bag produced a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the store on foot and entered a silver colored vehicle that was last seen heading Northbound on Beaumont Avenue.
