The Beaumont Police Department is aware of the new orders issued by the Riverside County Public Health Department as of April 4, 2020.
Currently we are asking our citizens to ensure you, your friends, family members and others close to you are doing their part to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Some of these measures include, but are not limited to hand washing, maintaining 6’ of social distancing from others, only leaving your home for essential activities such as going to the grocery store, attending doctor appointments, traveling to essential jobs, and wearing face coverings such as bandanas, scarves, neck gaiters or other clothing without visible holes.
Information on how to wear a face covering and other FAQs about their use can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html
Residents should not call 9-1-1 to report groups of people or individuals who are not complying with public health orders. 9-1-1 must remain open for emergencies only. If you see violations of these orders within the City of Beaumont, we request you email PIO@beaumontpd.org.
