The use or sale of fireworks within the City of Beaumont is illegal. Law Enforcement and Fire Agencies throughout Riverside County are enforcing zero tolerance for illegal fireworks. They will be confiscated. Persons caught with illegal fireworks are subject to arrest, citation, and/or fines. In addition, anyone who causes a fire using fireworks may be held financially responsible for all fire suppression costs.
Illegal fireworks are the cause of many fires that damage homes and property, as well as injure children and innocent bystanders. Beaumont Police Department would like our residents to have a safe and wonderful Fourth of July, so leave the fireworks to the pros.
