On Saturday, November 23, 2019, at approximately 5:00pm, the Beaumont Police Department received a phone call reporting a strong arm robbery from a store in the 200 block of E. 6th Street.
The caller reported seeing three subjects running from the store after pushing an employee to the ground.
Officers contacted the store employee who confirmed three subjects entered the store, one subject a Hispanic male adult walked to the liquor cabinet, grabbed two bottles and then fled. The employee, in an attempt to stop the other two subjects blocked the store entrance and was pushed to the ground as those subjects also fled.
The first subject is approximately 5’8”, 160 lbs, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. The other two subjects were also described as Hispanic male adults, early 20s. The second subject was described as approximately 5’11-6’ tall, 160 lbs., wearing a black hat, black windbreaker type jacket and blue jeans. The third subject was described as 5’8”, approximately 250 lbs., wearing a black shirt, grey and black hooded sweatshirt and grey shorts. All three subjects were last seen fleeing the area in a newer model (possibly Ford), 4-door vehicle.
Officers conducted an area search but were unable to locate the subjects. The employee sustained minor injuries. Surveillance footage from the store captured the suspects on camera (see photos).
