Copy of Arrest

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at approximately 5:48pm, the Beaumont Police Department received a call regarding suspicious circumstances in the 900 block of Beaumont Avenue. The caller reported that her adult daughter was walking home from a local business located on the corner of 10th Street and Beaumont Avenue. As the daughter returned home and checked the mailbox she was alerted by her barking dog. As she turned to see what the dogs were barking at she turned around to find an adult male standing on the sidewalk and within arms reach. The female reported she bumped the male and he reached out towards her touching her arm as she backed away and alerted her mother to contact the authorities.

The male was described as a Hispanic adult, mid 30’s, between 5’9” – 5’11” with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes. The male was described as appearing “dirty”, but was clean shaven, no visible tattoos, wearing a faded black or grey, short-sleeved shirt and with a stretched-out neck line.

Officers arrived at the scene and immediately conducted an area search, but were unable to locate anyone matching the description of the subject. If anyone was in the area at this time and has information about this case, please contact the On-Duty Watch Commander at 951-769-8500.
