Beaumont, CA -On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the Beaumont Police Department responded to an unspecified threat at the Beaumont High School. The School Resource Officer was given information by a student that two other students had been heard discussing a shooting on campus. Officers quickly identified both students and began investigating the threats. Officers conducted a threat assessment, which included contacting parents and checking the residences of the involved students. One 18 year-old student was arrested for possessing two knives and a baton on campus, this student did not have a firearm in their possession.
