Beaumont, CA — At a special meeting on December 2, 2025, the Beaumont City Council unanimously selected Jessica Voigt as Mayor and Lloyd White as Mayor Pro Tem. Both appointments are for a one-year term beginning immediately. Additionally, the Council appointed Kari Mendoza as Interim Deputy City Manager.
The Council’s decision reflects a shared commitment to continuity, collaboration, and strong leadership as the city moves into the year ahead. Mayor Voigt, Mayor Pro Tem White, and Interim Deputy City Manager Mendoza bring dedication, experience, and a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the Beaumont community.
Mayor Voigt expressed gratitude for the Council’s confidence and shared her enthusiasm for leading the city in this next chapter. She will continue to work closely with residents, businesses, and staff to advance Beaumont’s goals and objectives. Mayor Pro Tem White likewise conveyed appreciation for the opportunity to serve in this role and affirmed his commitment to supporting effective governance and community-focused decision making.
