Animal Control

The Animal Control Services goal is to improve the quality of life for both our citizens as well as our community's pets. Animal Control Services will also be responsible for the enforcement of state and local animal laws and regulations, including licensing of animals.


Building & Safety

The Building and Safety Department is dedicated to providing the highest level of inspection services and plan review, while providing personable service in the spirit of cooperation with the building community.

Community Enhancement

Beaumont's Community Enhancement Officers are responsible for the enforcement of the Beaumont Municipal Code within the city. Community Enhancement Officers work to ensure that properties within the city comply with all municipal, zoning, and building codes.

Economic Development

The purpose of the Economic Development Department is to enhance the quality of life in Beaumont through job retention and creation efforts.

Fire Services

The City of Beaumont has contracted the Riverside County Fire Department, in conjunction with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire), for fire protection and emergency services since 1978.

Finance

The primary responsibility of the Finance Department is the management of all city finance matters including accounts payable, annual city budget, and payroll.

Parks & Recreation

The City of Beaumont Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational activities, hosts special events, and is responsible for city facilities and maintenance of parks and parkways, City facilities and graffiti removal.

Planning

The mission of the Planning Department is to provide comprehensive information and recommendations to ensure that development projects are of the highest possible quality.

Police


Maintains public safety in Beaumont, enforces the law in a fair and impartial manner, recognizing the statutory and judicial limitations of police authority and the constitutional rights of all persons.

Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for construction, maintenance, and operation of public facilities and infrastructure within the City of Beaumont.

Transit

Beaumont Transit operates fixed routes and commuter link connecting the Pass Area to all of Southern California.
