Beaumont, CA - After several months of investigation into a child pornography case, the Beaumont Police Department Detective Bureau served a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Winter Pine Street in the City of Beaumont. With the assistance of our Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office and its Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, the team arrested John Crone, a 45 year-old male from Beaumont. A preliminary review of the evidence uncovered over one hundred images of child pornography on device(s) belonging to the suspect. Crone was booked at Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on possession of child pornography charges.
