Beaumont, CA - On April 14, 2022, the Beaumont Police Department was requested to investigate a juvenile being blackmailed by an adult male. The victim reported meeting a personal trainer in the City of Rancho Cucamonga in 2019, when she was 14 years old. After this meeting, the trainer began contacting her soliciting inappropriate photos. He threatened exposing her to friends and family if she didn’t comply. He also began sexually assaulting her. The victim reported the assaults took place at a second gym in the City of Redlands and also near a house in Beaumont.
Beaumont Detectives identified the subject and quickly located and arrested him. Ryan Thomas Taylor, 26, out of San Bernardino County, was arrested on Friday, May 6, 2022, for rape by force, oral copulation with a minor under 18, sexual assault, possession of child pornography, and extortion. Taylor was booked at Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
